Hello one and all,
Are you near London? Are you at a loose end tomorrow? Fancy having a jaunt by the Thames and learning a bit about the Festival of Britain?
Then come and meet Lena (Style High Club), Margaret (Penny Dreadful) and me at 11am and 2pm, outside the Southbank Foyles, where we'll transport you back to 1951 with our Festival of Britain tours.
The added bonus is, after we've nattered at you for about half an hour, I've heard there's reems of vintage stalls and other entertainment to browse too!
It'd be lovely to meet you
G xx

Hi Gemma,
I adore the cardigan you wore to Lisa's birthday - I saw it on Fleur's post. It is beautiful. Is it hand knitted? Did you knit it yourself? I am an avid knitter and would love to get my hands on that pattern. If you know what pattern book it came from, I would love to know the details. I really like your blog, and have enjoyed your little music videos on the uke. Post more often! I like reading about your renovation progress, and really admire your commitment to the thirties (and other decades).
sincerely,
danielle
Hallo Danielle,
Thank you so much for your lovely comments :)
I'm afraid to say the jumper's an ebay purchase. However, I did spot this on Etsy the other day...

It has a simular neckline and knit, just has buttons at the neck too (which I rather like!)
I am a bit lax with posting, but my work tends to catch up with me, so it's a case of squeezing blogs in when I have the time. I do howver have an exciting project to share coming up soon, so watch this space :D
