I am thinking of re-naming my blog. It started out to be focussed on baking diary free stuff with some vintage bits and I've just noticed only 2 baking posts and the rest are other witterings. So, really, I am blogging under false pretences!
here are some ideas...
Dora Davies' Diary (the name of the 1930s tennant from my flat)
The lady vanishes (my all time favourite Hitchcock movie, but then i'm not a film critic)
Ok I'm out of ideas now... do you have any? Or should I just leave it be?
I have a good post in the pipeline, but it's taking an age to write up, watch this space :D

Back to the point. I love the title of your blog, personally. I like the play on words. And your "about me" bit says that you are "teaching yourself..baking... other wafflings". I have not noticed that you have only posted 2 baking related posts. If fact - it is the waffling posts that made me follow :)
That said (sheesh - i am ON one tonight!) I have been toying with the idea of changing the name of my blog recently too.
But, if I have to pick - definitly the Dora Davies' Diary. Keep such a fab name alive!
Keep it the way it is I think. I don't know many bloggers who have kept going on their intended blogging route. I like your name. My vote is for keeping it.

I am totally with LandGirl1980! I love the present blog-title and when I would have to choose a new one Dora Davies'Diaries would be my pick - I love that allitaration!
I love the title who cares what the content is, I like the content and the title!
hmmm, like land girl I also didn't notice there wasn't much 'baking' in your posts. I just enjoy reading what you write. I think most blogs seem to be almost the entire contents of the owners mind ( I know mine is developing that way!) and not just one little section of musings.
If you feel the need to change though then you must follow your heart on this one. If you feel the current title doesn't quite sit right for you then you must do what will make you happy. :O)
Hope this isn't anything to do with me being a fool and thinking this was a cooking blog! I like the current name and think it is really clever, but know first-hand that it can maybe be a little misleading. Blogs do tend to develop over time - maybe just keep it in mind for a little while and see how you feel after another month or so.
Hey Penny, nooo not at all. I've been pondering a "rebrand" for a wee while, when you mentioned you thought it was a cooking blog I thought... "hang on, it was going to be!" But it's ended up being a monolgue of my ramblings!

I love the name of your blog and follow because it is intresting but if you did change it it would have to Dora Davies' Diary.
What ever you chose to do while you keep blogging I will keep reading with intrest and following.

I'd keep it as it is! Mostly because I get really confused when blogs I follow change their names and it changes in my feed reader!
I like Bake Do and Mend, it's a nice play on words and ties into the vintage thing too!
