My new hat... and dress/ outfit post

I've been a naughty girl and spent pennies!

I now have a 1940s sweetheart dress in emerald plaid and I love it! It's a bit different from the 1930s style I usually favour, but I reckon the shape suits? It also mixes well with my little green jacket!

So much fun can be had with a red phone box!

In between times I also saw a gorgeous bottle green hat which I thought would look splendid with my green suit and new dress... so I bought that too... whoops! (It was a bargain though)

I added a green brooch to it, but am also thinking a big old pheasant feather would look good too?

Well, everyone deserves a treat from time to time... don't they?!

Absolutely. I am always treating myself, at the beginning of the month, as it's payday, and the end, when I have got through it!

The shape of your new dress is gorgeous! Where are yout tights from? I am loving tights at the moment, am thinking of blogging about them soon. Love the pheasant feather idea. Loving bottle green at the moment too!

Hullo there Lady Cherry, lovely to meet you.

My tights were another pricey buy, about sixteen quid by Tabio... but as they're knitted they don't ladder, and if the pull are so easy to darn I figured it's an investment. they also come in black :D

Thank you :) I'm into green atm, seems right for the time of year. my other half dislikes the dress though, says I should go back to Brigadoon... but then there's no accounting for taste ;)

Thank you for stopping by,and ignore your other half on the style front.Unless told by Sir David Niven ,and that's not going to happen.I rarely listen to a man on true style.
